Kapalagulu Nickel
An under-explored nickel sulphide project on the Kapalagulu–Lubalisi alignment.
Project Overview
The SF Resources Ltd Nickel Project (SFRN) comprises PL/19814, PL/19883, PL/21683 and PL/21685/2022, covering ≈17.64 sq. km, with a further application of ≈15.64 sq. km adjacent along the Main Kapalagulu–Lubalisi Zone.
Location
Located in the Mpanda District, ≈35 km from the eastern shore of Lake Tanganyika, forming part of the western limb of the East African Rift system.
An under-explored nickel sulphide project in the southern end of the Kabanga-Musongati-Kapalagulu alignment in the Ubendian Belt, 95 km southeast of the Kapalagulu nickel deposit. The Company's tenure hosts ≈30 km of the geophysical trend running southeast from Kapalagulu through Kabulwanyele.
Geology & Potential
The Geological Survey of Tanzania mapping shows extensive laterite occurrences within SFRL's tenure with potential for nickel. Historic work is minimal, limited to surface geochemical samples — a clear exploration upside.
